Year End Wrap-Up 2024

Club Member Achievements & Spotlight!

2024 you were great to us but can’t wait to say hello to 2025! We had a blast ending the 2024 year with various activities, games, and Club programming. We have a couple of Club members to celebrate with their achievements and you can find their spotlights and Club stories down below. 

We ended the year at our Ohio County Unit with various activities including discussing the importance of short- and long-term goals in our SMART MOVES class. In Arts & Crafts we held a coloring contest where the winners received a special prize. They also had the chance to create their own Perler bead keychains and ended with a giant game of kickball outside. 

Our first Word of the Month challenge was KINDNESS. Each month we will choose a positive character trait and reward the member who exemplifies the trait the best. Staff members were asked to monitor and keep their eye out for the Club member who always shows kindness to Staff as well as other Club members. Congrats to Kyler R. for being our Kindness winner! 

Kyler is a standout member of the Ohio County Unit. He is known for his friendly and respectful demeanor and is always asking how he can help our staff. 

Our 2nd word of the month was RESPONSIBILITY. Congrats to Keegan P. as our responsibility winner! He has gone above and beyond showing us how responsible he can be and is always honest, trustworthy, and takes the initiative to help everyone out. We are so proud of you Keegan!

Our last word of the month for 2024 was GRATITUDE. Congratulations to Aaliyah who has truly embodied the definition of gratitude. Her kindness and willingness to always help others make her an incredible role model to our Club members. Aaliyah’s actions always reflect a heart full of appreciation and positivity. Keep spreading positive vibes and inspiring everyone around you Aaliyah!
