Our first Hands-On Horizons project was a tremendous success with over 60 teen Club members and 40 Club staff and OCTC professionals and volunteers in attendance. All attendees were able to listen to experienced professionals describe their field, certifications necessary, and participate in hands-on activities related to their stations. Food, drinks, swag bags, t-shirts and amazing giveaways were also offered. We hope to continue this partnership with OCTC as part of our workforce development program and initiatives. We want to ensure that we are able to offer our youth, and especially teens, the knowledge and resources necessary to help them plan for their Great Futures ahead.
We hope to have a 2nd Hands-On Horizons Project later in 2025. Until then, check out all our amazing snapshots into the event down below!
