Back to School!

August Programming Recap 2024

BACK TO SCHOOL IS HERE! We hope all of our Club members have a great 2024 – 2025 school year. All 3 of our sites were excited and ready for the new year to welcome back returning Club members and welcoming and introducing new Club members. You can see a glimpse into our 3 sites down below as well as in the gallery. Be sure you’re following our Facebook page, Boys and Girls Club of Butler County, to make sure you never miss any important after-school programming announcements. 

Morgantown Elementary School Extension had a fun filled day back with a popsicle treat, board games and play dough activities. At our Teen Center, our teen Club members each received their own headphone STEM kit. They had to complete the instructions to make their own working headphones! We’re so proud of their hard work in accomplishing this new STEM activity. Later in the month, our teens also learned about the process of budgeting. They were each given a certain budget and had to plan a destination vacation without spending over their limit. This included the tasks of booking flights and hotels, planning their activities, and the expense of their meals. Our kids at North Butler Elementary took advantage of the nice sunny weather we had and enjoyed playing on the playground after their homework time.
