Radio Auction Recap 2025

A Record Day of Community Generosity

Sponsored By: WLBQ 1570AM, Morgantown Bank & Trust, and Q101.5

Our community showed up in a big way for our 2025 Radio Auction, turning December 6 into a day filled with energy, generosity, and heartfelt support for the youth of Butler County. From the moment the phones opened at 8:00 AM, listeners, donors, and local businesses came together to make this year’s event one of our most memorable yet.

A Day of Bidding, Giving, and Community Spirit
Listeners tuned in throughout the day on WLBQ 1570 AM, Q 101.5 FM, and online via beechtreenews.com and the Boys & Girls Club of Butler County Facebook page. The phone lines stayed busy as supporters called 270‑288‑0880 to bid on an incredible lineup of donated items — everything from gift baskets to home goods to unique finds!

Every bid helped fuel the programs that give our Club members a safe place to learn, grow, and build confidence. The enthusiasm from callers and the friendly competition between bidders made the day feel like a true celebration of community.

Generous Donations Powered the Auction
This year’s Radio Auction featured a wide variety of items donated by individuals, families, and businesses across Butler County. Many donors dropped off items at Morgantown Bank & Trust and the Boys & Girls Club, while others arranged pickups through Amanda — a service that made giving easier for everyone.

Thank You to Our Partners

Events like this can’t happen without strong community partnerships. We extend our sincere appreciation to:

  • Morgantown Bank & Trust
  • WLBQ 1570 AM
  • Q 101.5 Morgantown Radio

Their commitment ensures that every dollar raised goes directly toward serving our kids and teens at the Boys & Girls Club of Butler County sites.

Impact That Lasts Beyond the Airwaves

The Radio Auction may last just one day, but the impact stretches far beyond the final bid. Funds raised support after‑school programs, mentorship, academic help, healthy meals, and the safe, welcoming environment our kids count on.

This year’s Radio Auction reminded us once again what makes Butler County special — a community that shows up, gives generously, and believes in investing in its young people.

Thank you to every donor, bidder, volunteer, and listener who made the 2025 Radiothon a success. Together, we’re building brighter futures.

We look forward to seeing everyone again at next year’s Radio Auction! Stay tuned for our date announcement!

Thank you for helping build Great Futures!
