GREAT SUMMERS START HERE!

Summer Programming Recap 2025

GREAT SUMMERS START HERE! We celebrated the end of summer with so many community partnerships. We cannot thank our community enough for stepping up and helping our Club members build their own Great Futures. Down below you’ll be able to read highlights of these incredible adventures. Our Club members were still busy daily with activities, arts & crafts, field trips, healthy lifestyle activities, good character & citizenship games, and academic success workshops. Check out our picture galleries down below to see a glimpse inside our end of summer.

We have had a fantastic time celebrating our 2025 Summer Program with our kids and teens! We sincerely want to say THANK YOU to all of the companies, businesses, volunteers, and organizations that have joined us here at the Club to share programs with our youth. We also want to thank everyone we have worked with during our field trips to your place of business. Our Club members have truly enjoyed all of the opportunities we have had this summer. We wish them all the best on their first day back to school in August!

June Activities

Our Club members first month of summer was off to an amazing start! They were engaged with fun activities from day 1 until the end of the month. Just a glimpse into our June calendar included: learning the history of our local city and town, crochet, learning new games, visitors from the Butler County Animal Shelter, and pool days. During the month of June, we also celebrated National Boys & Girls Club Week. Each day had a different theme and those included: Mindful Monday, Top Chef Tuesday and Wellness Wednesday.

July Activities

We started July off with our Independence Week celebration! On Day 1 our Club members got creative and made American flags out of their handprints followed by a pool day and a Red, White & Blue Party. We also hosted a career week where various companies came in to speak with our youth about occupational choices later in life. Thank you to WRECC, Wayne & Isaac from the Morgantown Fire Department, Sgt. Burder from the Morgantown Police Department, Chief Brandon Keown, Shane and Sabrina from the Rescue Squad, and Delta Faucets for coming out and joining us! We ended our summer program with a pizza party courtesy of the Morgantown Housing Authority.
