Every fall, our community comes together for one unforgettable evening; an evening filled with hope, inspiration, and the shared belief that Henderson’s kids deserve every opportunity to thrive. On Thursday, August 27, we’re proud to hose our 3rd Annual Great Futures Dinner, sponsored by Best Insured, at the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson’s Fidler Family Unit. Doors open at 5:00PM CST, and the program begins at 6:00PM CST.

This year’s event promises to be one of our most exciting yet!

A Night That Changes Lives

Guests will enjoy a delicious meal provided by Hometown Roots, fellowship with community leaders, and an inside look at the life-changing work happening every day at the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson Fidler Family Unit. Funds raised through this event will support our four core program areas: Academic Succes, Character & Leadership, Health & Well-Being, and Life & Workforce Readiness.

Every ticket, every table and every donation fuels programs that help our Henderson youth discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships and prepare for Great Futures.

An Inspiring Guest: Coach Flynn Clayman

We’re honored to welcome Flynn Clayman, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at High Point University, as our featured speaker. Clayman’s journey from his playing days at Colorado State, Troy, and the University of the Cumberlands to his professional career overseas, reflects his grit, determination, and his power of believing in your own potential.

His coaching career is equally remarkable. Clayman rose through the ranks at Southern Utah University before joining High Point as Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator. During his tenure, the Panthers earned a 56-15 record, back-to-back Big South regular season titles, and their first ever NCAA tournament appearance! In 2025, Clayman took the helm as Head Coach and led High Point to another conference champsion and the program’s first NCAA tournament victory which was a stunning upset over Wisconsin.

His leadership earned him Big South Coach of the Year, Red Auerbach Coach of the Year, and a finalist spot for the Joe B. Hall National Coach of the Year. Coach Clayman’s story is one our Club members can look up to and proof that hard work and heart can take you anywhere.

1) Attend the event by purchasing individual tickets. Individual ticket(s) are $75 each for guests.

2) Attend the event by purchasing a corporate table. (1) table that seats 6 guests is $400.

3) Make a donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson Fidler Family Unit. Click here to see all the ways you can donate today!

$25 will provide 1 youth with a full year membership to BGCH Fidler Family Unit.
