Recap: A Beautiful Day on the Course at Our 6th Annual Golf Classic

The sun was shining, the greens were perfect, and the community showed up in full force — making our 6th Annual Golf Classic one of our best tournaments yet. Held at The Bridges Golf Course of Henderson, Friday’s event brought together supporters, sponsors, and friends for a day of fun, friendly competition, and meaningful impact for the youth we serve at the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson Fidler Family Unit.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity that made this event possible. Our title sponsors, the Kentucky Farm Bureau James Runion and Stephen Boyens agencies, once again demonstrated their unwavering commitment to our mission. We also extend a heartfelt thank‑you to HMP&L Fiber for serving as our cart sponsor, and to every one of our hole sponsors whose support helps us continue creating great futures for Club kids.

Of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without our amazing players and volunteers! Whether you were out there chasing birdies or simply enjoying the sunshine, your participation fuels the programs, mentorship, and safe spaces our Club provides year‑round. We appreciate each and every golfer who chose to spend the day with us.

From start to finish, the tournament was filled with energy, camaraderie, and community spirit — everything we hoped it would be. We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another fantastic day on the course.
