Our 1st Pickleball Fiesta Classic is set for May 18!

Who doesn’t love a good Saturday playing pickleball all while supporting our Owensboro kids and teens? We hope you join us on May 18 at the Owensboro Country Club and become a pickleball champion for youth. Our Pickleball Fiesta Classic, sponsored by Truist, is our second feature to our first in-person event of the season. You’re not going to want to miss this one! We will end our weekend by staying on the endless pursuit of providing great futures for tomorrow’s innovators, leaders and problem solvers.

This will be a day full of pickleball, sportsmanship and raising money for our kids and teens at the Mike Horn Unit. All proceeds will help us provide needed essentials for our Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Citizenship programs.

Saturday, May 18 Pickleball Fiesta Classic Details:

Location: Owensboro Country Club
Address: 400 East Byers Avenue, Owensboro, KY 42303
Time: Round Robin begins at 8:00AM CST
To Register as a Player please visit the following link: pickleballbrackets.com
Cost: $60/player entry fee. Entry fee does include a player t-shirt
Each player guaranteed approximately 15 games

Classic Details:

Separate men & women divisions
2 different divisions for each based-on skill set (Register as under 3.5 or 3.5 and above)
Round Robin is an estimated 2 hours of play
4-player finals for each group will commence after round robin
Games played to 7 conventional scoring
Classic format will be played as doubles
Reserve the right to merge divisions if needed

Ways to Support

There are a number of ways that you can support our youth at the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club Mike Horn Unit for this year’s Pickleball Fiesta Classic! See below for all of our opportunities:

1) Enter as a player in our pickleball classic. Entering as a player you receive a t-shirt, help benefit our Club members, and have a great time playing the sport you love.

2) Be a Sponsor. For $40 your company sign will be displayed around the courts during our pickleball classic. Contact Kalie Winkler for further steps. (email down below)

3) Sign up as both a pickleball player and a sponsor! Contact Kalie Winkler for further steps. (email down below)

4) Make a donation to the Cliff Hagan Boys & Girls Club. $15 will provide 1 Club youth with a full year membership to our Mike Horn Unit!
